From the onset, man was created not to be solely independent but rather he was made to rely on one another for his survival.

Some trust in Chariots, and some in horses: But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

Psalms 20: 7

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth

Psalms 121: 1

…. For by strength shall no man prevail.

I Samuel 2: 9

Help is key and always needed and required daily by mankind. Little wonder it was recorded of King Uziah that he was marvellously helped. 2. Chronicles 26:15. He was helped by even being provided with men of valour to help his vision.

Thus, an avenue God uses in blessing His people is through the pronouncement and proclamation of help into their lives.

When God provides help, this results in:

1. God serves as our security; Our refuge and dwelling place. Psalms 46: 1
2. God provides marvellous help and open heavens
3. Divine support
4. The enemy gets driven out of our lives

However, God helps only those who cry out to him for help after recognizing that they are weak and need help.
