God in His mercy has purposed and has intention for everyone to have a Story of Thanksgiving; while some already have their story.

…. and they overcame by the words of their testimony 

The Testimony is their own Story of Thanksgiving.

Just as God has been merciful and faithful to us, so we also need to show our gratitude to Him. We need to continually thank Him because we can see Him and in His deeds.

• We need to thank Him to show that we are not taking Him for granted 

If you take God for granted then you are grounded.

• We need to thank Him to show that we are not forgetful of His works

… bless the Lord O my soul and forget not His benefits

• We also thank Him because our dependence and help comes from Him.
• When we thank God, we are pleasing Him – Psalms 69: 30-31, I Thessalonians 5:18
• Giving thanks brings us into the presence of God – Psalms 95:2

We need to be mindful that a full Thanksgiving Story is composed of

2. Our Articulation 
3. Our Obligation to God for His blessings
