Conquest requires transformation; victory needs a change.

For every overcomer, his life starts with a change. Many are leaving a defeated life as a result of their conformity to the world.

... be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed ...

Transformation is the refinement, renewal and revolutionization to the point of a new birth. It is the renewal work of God to create a new and better person.

As every child of God who has been birth, God demands and requires of us to daily change in growth from our birth stage to a more redefined glorious adulthood in Christ Jesus. 

Nature forms us; sin deforms us, Education informs us; prison reforms us, but Christ transforms us

There has been many misconceptions as to what can change or transform outside Christ, but Jesus Christ is the only source of true and genuine transformation. 

The need for transformation:

• It is a command
• It brings out the best version of us
• It gives opportunities
• It leads to the good will of God

Paul was a man who worked against the church (Acts 26: 9-11), but was transformed into a new being (I. Thessalonians 2: 7-8)

Peter was another personality who encountered a great transformation from being a fisherman to a great apostle.
