God has placed three(3) leadership responsibilities and roles to every father:

• The responsibility of preisthood
• The responsibility of prophets
• The responsibility of kingship

The Kingship is where the authority flows, the law giver, the protector and the provider for the people. 

Fathers are made Kings based on the redemption provided by Jesus Christ through His death and blood. Revelations 1: 5-6; 5: 9-10

Fathers as Kings are expected to exert the rule, command and direct the household. Genesis 18: 19

Fathers as Kings are expected to lead and direct  by example. Joshua 24: 14 - 16

God expects Fathers to assume their roles as Kings by 

1. Being anointed, ordained and chosen
2. Not being a "familiar' stranger to his people. Deuteronomy 17: 15
3. Being a faithful father/ husband
4. To know the Word and be a person of the scripture
5. To exercise faith in God
